What should I BRING?

Required ID:


You need a valid Auto or Motorcycle driver's license

or Auto permit

or a DMV issued California ID Card Minimum age is 15½.




If you are under 18, you must bring a parent or legal guardian to the first night of class to sign required waiver forms. Arrangements can be made to have them sign prior.


Make sure you bring A LOT OF WATER!

Make sure to bring some snacks too, exhaustion can sneak up on you if you haven't eaten.




What should I WEAR?

Required Clothing:


1. Long sleeve shirt or Jacket.


2. Long pants made of a sturdy material such as denim (no sweat pants, nylon, or spandex).


3. Sturdy boots that cover the ankle such as work boots, hiking boots, or high-top leather shoes. (No spiked heals or platform shoes).


  1. 4.Bring eye protection such as glasses, sunglasses or riding goggles. Loaner eye protection is available.

  2. 5.Full finger leather gloves. (loaner gloves are available).


If you have your own helmet and gloves, bring them with you.

There are helmets and gloves available for those that don't already own them. Your own helmet must be DOT approved and be a full face or 3/4 helmet. No half helmets or beanie helmets.

Please Dress for the weather.



What is the Class Etiquette?

Be on time. Arrive 10 minutes before each session.


You must attend all classes and riding sessions in sequence to graduate.


Be ready to ride. Be well rested, well fed, sober, and free from distractions.


Be courteous towards and supportive of your classmates.


No spectators (family friends etc.).
